Web Alchemist Website Website Services is a small web and photography development business based in Hobart, Tasmania Australia. We offer website development and related services, including Domain name registration and hosting support, in-page SEO optimisation, Google Ads campaign management, and general photography and image processing services.
At Web Alchemist, we are committed to delivering high-quality web design, development, and hosting services that meet the unique needs of each client. As our work involves digital and creative services rather than physical products, traditional returns are not applicable. However, we stand by the quality of our workmanship and strive to ensure that every project is delivered to a professional standard.
Service Quality Guarantee
If you experience any technical issues, bugs, or defects that arise directly from our design or development work, we will work promptly to correct these at no additional cost. This guarantee applies only to faults that are the result of our workmanship and not to issues caused by third-party software, hosting environments outside our control, or changes made by the client or other service providers after project completion.
Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our services, refunds are not offered once work has commenced or a project has been delivered. All project deposits and payments are non-refundable, as they secure time and resources dedicated to your project. In certain circumstances, at our sole discretion, a partial refund may be considered if work has not yet begun.
Ongoing Support and Maintenance
For hosting and maintenance plans, refunds will not be provided for partial periods of service already delivered. Clients may cancel future renewals at any time by providing notice as outlined in their service agreement.
Collection of personal data
Personal information is information that identifies you or from which you may reasonably be identified. The types of personal information that we may collect about you includes:
- Your name, gender, email address, telephone number;
- Any other information you choose to provide during communications with us;
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
